Born in Baton Rouge and raised in Houston's Missouri City, Stafford and Cinco Ranch areas, Jason joined the United States Marines in 2004 and served two tours in Iraq. He credits that experience for forming his impressive leadership skills and ability to relate to people from all walks of life, and he excels at working with engineers, veterans and active duty personnel. Following his military service, Jason earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Louisiana State University.
