I am Cara Dietsche, a Jersey girl who moved south because she hated the cold but moved back halfway because she missed the change of seasons. I am a mom of two, dog mom, and spouse of a family medicine physician. I have experienced the realities of medical school, residency, attending life, and the relocations that often accompany each stage.
Our family has moved across multiple states—including Florida, South Carolina, Missouri, and North Carolina—driven by residency, contracts, and career goals. From purchasing homes during residency to relocating for attending positions and navigating temporary long-distance arrangements, I understand the time constraints, pressure, and complexity physician families face when making housing decisions from first-hand knowledge.
Professionally, I bring over 15 years of experience in finance and insurance, roles that demanded accuracy, organization, negotiation, and the ability to guide clients through high-stakes, detail-driven processes. I purchased my first home at the age of 22 and, through multiple transactions since, learned how impactful it is to have a knowledgeable advocate throughout the buying and selling process. Those experiences inspired my transition into real estate, with a focus on providing clarity, efficiency, and confidence—particularly for busy medical professionals and their families.
Now based in Winston-Salem, I help physician families find homes that support both their careers and their lives. I understand the importance of proximity to hospitals, call schedules, school considerations, commute times, and flexibility for future transitions. My goal is to streamline the real estate process so physician families can focus on what matters most—caring for patients and building a sustainable life outside of work.
