Moving to Tampa

Forbes.com recently named Tampa best place to live in Florida — and with the proximity to beach, international airport, sports teams, art and history and the exploding new $3.5B Water Street district downtown, who could blame them?? In addition to all the positive attributes, Forbes also noted the “influx of various employers to the area.” Many of these are health-related and we can’t forget the outstanding hospital systems in the region.

Tampa General Hospital with the main campus located in the heart of it all on Davis Islands is regionally ranked  #3 in Florida and #1 in Tampa-St. Petersburg.  Moffitt Cancer Center, AdventHealth, St Joseph’s hospital system, James Haley VA and John’s Hopkins All Children’s Hospital are just a few of the expansive medical assets the community offers its residents.

With all the amazing hospitals, physicians often wonder, where is the best place to live? From Hyde Park to Westchase, South Tampa to Old Northeast in St Pete, Safety Harbor to Odessa, the options are endless.
