Betty Taisch

A highly recognized and well-regarded name in the real estate industry not only in the Bay Area, but across the country! With over 30 years of real estate sales experience, Betty has been a consistent 1% top producer beginning at Coldwell Banker, relocating to Pacific Union then being acquired by Compass as a Luxury Property Specialist. In addition to her leadership skills, experience, and tireless hard work, she manages to serve as a role model, mentor, speaker and facilitator across the country. Her journey began in 1985 when she founded a property management company in San Francisco. In 1990, she entered the sales market and has since become a consistent top producer Realtor. Her commitment to serving clients has been remarkable and she has also dedicated herself to the real estate community by actively participating in Local, State, and National Associations of Realtors.

A glimpse of her leadership qualities includes being past President of the SF Association of Realtors & State Women’s Council of Realtors, Director of the California Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors, as well as chairing countless committees and achieving numerous professional designations. Her passion for mentoring others, speaking engagements, and professional designations have all contributed to her career growth over the years. Guiding clients through the most challenging times of their lives, buying and selling real estate, has become one of her greatest strengths.

With a Bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Buffalo, she also served as Head Nurse on the General Surgery Ward at the University of Michigan hospital in Ann Arbor. Despite being widowed at an early age, Betty remained involved with the medical community and was one of the pioneers of the Nurse Practitioner movement at UC Davis in the early 70s. In her personal life, she has a lovely partner for over 12 years, one son who is 45, and a granddaughter age 9. Betty is also very active in many philanthropic organizations, serves as a trustee on a board, and gives back to the community in many ways.
